Favorite School Memory	I would first like to say what a thrill it is to finally have a forum for all the past Williamsville South graduates to voice opinions, re-connect, and as we say in the business “hob-knob”. I look forward to the opportunity to re-connect with as many of you as possible through this site. Many years have past, hard to believe it has been almost twenty, since we all stood up on that stage and accepted our diplomas. All of us in our blue caps and gowns with the exception of one individual if I do recall correctly. I remember the individual in a purple cap and gown because of his affinity for the musician Prince. I cannot remember the persons name and cannot seem to find him in the year book but the memory is strong and bright in my mind. About Me	You may recognize me from my appearance on American Idol season 7 as my chosen stage name Sway. I kept my participation in the show as a closely guarded secret among my family, friends, and voice/lyrical trainer Tico Pompano. With the love and support of everyone I made the trek to Atlanta and Orlando to tryout. Although I “stepped in the proverbial hole” at American Idol and did not achieve my goal. I look upon those days fondly and cherish the opportunities it has afforded me. I met some great people and remember with a smile joking with Ryan Seacrest about how he was taller than me just because he has the hair. The secret is, he really is taller than me and they gave me lifts for my shoes for additional height which I still use today. I spend most of my time these days on the road singing for the masses at county fairs, bar & bat mitzvahs, weddings, carnivals, funerals, hotel cocktail lounges, and the occasional gathering of music industry representatives in the attempt to make it in the biz. Height requirements have eliminated me from the possibility of competing in any of the other reality shows such as Survivor and American Gladiator. I would welcome the opportunity to sing for those of you who have registered for the site as well as for upcoming events or family functions. My range touches upon many spectrums of the musical kaleidoscope. From the jazzy melodies of Barry Manilow to the upbeat hooks of Men at Work all way out the country and Kenny Rogers the “Sway” will light your way. May I also suggest my services for the upcoming 20 year reunion. I have a hearty catalog of 80’s songs that would fit the bill and really create a great atmosphere.
