| About | In memory of Doug Washburn that passed away in late 2016. He was Captain of the Williamsville High School wrestling team in 1963. Also a lifelong childhood friend that had a big heart! He will be missed! |

A good person, a good decent friend as I grew up. I may have even gone to a prom with him.
I remember him at the Academy Street School playground on the big wooden merry go round (what was it called?) and climbing on the monkey bars. He lived right there.
I saw him three times as an adult. I remember all three short conversations. The last time we talked in my sister’s driveway about friends we had lost, and that was all.
He is missed.
