About	James passed away on October 16, 2022 after a long battle with cancer. After he graduated high school, he attended and graduated from the University of Notre Dame. Post graduation he completed a tour in Vietnam, then relocated to San Diego, CA where he lived until he passed. He loved to garden, read, play golf, and watch sports, especially his beloved Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Ellen; his son Chris; his daughter Jeanne; grandchildren - Meghan, Alex and Nick; his 4 sisters; and many nieces and nephews. He is greatly missed.
