About	Kathy received her undergraduate degree at Fredonia where she was active in class leadership and studied a semester in Belgium. She got her masters from Syracuse University and doctorate in elementary math education from University of Buffalo. She taught in elementary schools then at universities in Pennsylvania (U Penn at Mansfield), Maryland (College Park), & Wisconsin (Widewater), and supervised math education for Florida school districts. A teacher to the end, she died at dismissal time on the last day of the school year after a long battle with cancer.
