About Me	It's been a heck of a run. I've lived, worked, or traveled in 40+ countries on 5 continents. I spent 10 years in the Intelligence business with the military and the last 40 years in the private sector involved in security and fire-life safety work - both in the US and abroad. Some of it boring... some of it about as exciting as it gets. I've had the chance to rub elbows with celebrities and low-lifes just about equally. All in all, more than a few bumps and scrapes along the way, but still standing with a smile on my face. Currently based in NYC and Chicago (more or less a weekly commute the past 15 years) where I own a few businesses. I am blessed in business and blessed in family having been married for 45 years to one of the world's top chefs... with a son who served his country for 14 years as a member of the US Navy and given us 4 wonderful grandchildren. A nuclear engineer - he is working as an senior operator and instructor at a nuclear facility SW of Houston, TX, but the family will be re-locating to Iowa this year. New nuke job, new adventure... and only a 4-hour drive away! It's all about the kids and grandkids at this stage of the game... so that's a big PLUS!
