| About Me | I love writing, painting, photography, and digital art. I've written a lot of fiction including four novels, but am focused on art-making at present. My greatest joy is being out in nature, and my deepest wish is for world peace. I'm an abstract (mostly expressionist) painter and photographer with a passion for color and the forms of nature. In painting, I'm drawn to subjects with a sense of ambiguity and mystery, more than to recognizable scenes. I love the freedom and musicality of abstract work. To me, it's more fun to see 'what isn't' than to see 'what is.' I've shown my art in numerous juried and solo shows in the New York area.
