| About Me | Worked in the accounting department of a Springfield manufacturing company for 8 years. Was a stay-at-home mom for about 10 years. Then was drafted back into 4-H as a club leader when our oldest son decided to join. I was club leader for 20 years, during which time I did receive some County recognition awards. In December of 1984 I was asked to be a part-time secretary at my local church. I am still at that job today! While raising my kids (our oldest was killed in a car accident his senior year - 1992) I was home-room mom for many years. Helped with many school field trips, parties, etc. I eventually became "soccer mom" and along with that came the position of "assistant" coach. A friend who was very athletic asked me to help her coach our sons' park board soccer team. In Jr High we took the first WJHS team to Springfield for more competitive play.
