| About Me | Go Ducks! I am a husband of 23 years, a father, and a grandfather. I love Japanese pop culture and hope to visit there some day. I am politically conservative, but feel that neither party serves the best interests of the American people. I am a former minister, and I hope to return to ministry in the future. I have 2 daughters, a son, 2 foster daughters, and a grandson. I grew up Lutheran, but I was a minister in the Christian Churches/Churches of Christ for 5 years. I have been out of the ministry for 7 years due to family challenges and lack of opportunity. I believe that God will place me in the right ministry at the right time. My favorite sports teams are: University of Oregon Ducks, Seattle Seahawks, Seattle Mariners, Portland Trail Blazers, Montreal Canadiens, Colorado Avalanche, D.C. United, and Manchester United FC. I root for the University of Kentucky and the University of North Carolina, but the Ducks are first in my heart. I like romantic anime and manga, so I enjoy the shoujo and josei genres the best. My favorite animes are NANA, Shuffle!, Ai Yori Aoshi, and Maria-sama ga Miteru. My favorite mangas are Kare Kano, NANA, Vampire Knight, and Ai Yori Aoshi.
