Maybe my most impactful Teacher at WHS.
1. In 8th grade we learned Mechanical Drawings. This helped me in College and most of my life being able to properly draw out an idea so it could be constructed/built.
2. As a Sophomore, as a year-long project I built a water-ski boat. This boat was used for over 30 years in our family with several motor upgrades. My dad, WC Carter, Band Director, sometimes pulled it behind a school bus to Senior Trips, where all Seniors had a chance to learn to ski.
3. He was a good friend of my father, and became a good friend to me. The three of us went on fishing trips, He taught me a lot of life skills beyond simple classroom topics. I owe a lot of my ability to fabricate items to learning from Mr.Adams.
