| About Me | Attended Stone School of Business and worked for Division of Vocational Rehabilitation in New Haven.for ten years. Involvement in community service and family life. Went back to school in my late forties, attending Gateway Community College in New Haven, taking Early Childhood Education courses. In first marriage, co-raised a daughter who is now thirty. I divorced after 23 years of marriage, graduated from Gateway, and began to build my life again in early fifties. I got involved in writing. I worked at short term jobs as a teacher assistant, teacher aide, and library aide. Then in September of 2002, I decided to make the leap and move down to Virginia Beach. Within a year of moving here, I met my second husband. I have been involved in the community down here and have published my first book, A String of Pearls-Restoring the Soul through Poetry.
