I was born on Friday, 17 October 1958, at 10:17 p.m., in what was then known as Salisbury Hospital in what was then the small town of Salisbury Maryland. My beloved mother, Frances Mae Harmon Brown (http://www.keithlbrown.net/My_Mother_Knew_It.html) passed away on 12 June 1997 after a battle with breast cancer. She was 59 years of age. My dear father, John Wallace Brown (http://keithlbrownblogs.blogspot.com/2009/01/true-story-about-my-father.html#), passed away on 20 November 2006. He was 71 years of age. I have one older brother and two younger sisters. The older of my two sisters is married and has a son. I was born and raised as a Baptist, but my heritage is predominantly Methodist. I was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on 10 March 1998 while serving on active duty in the United States Navy in Keflavic Iceland. I was baptized at the LDS Chapel in the capital city of Reykjavik Iceland. I completed my 20 year Naval career on 31 March 2001 and was honorably discharged. My career ended here in the city of Annapolis and so I decided to make this my home.
