Worked as a statistical analyst for Eastman Kodak Company, taught economics and served as an academic dean and vice president for what is now the University of Illinois at Springfield (30 years) and worked as Executive V.P./COO for the Illinois State Chamber of Commerce (12 years). Had two families with three children in each one. Served in volunteer positions at the local, state and national levels. Served as Chair of the Illinois Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, Advisory Board member for the Army Command and General Staff College and as Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army - Illinois South. ...(read more)
