| About Me | I am an Army brat. And in 1969, I met Louis Braun, an Air Force brat. We were married in 1970 and upon Lou graduating from WSU we headed to Laredo AFB, TX where he started a year of pilot training. I have had a very blessed life. I've lived in various states and foreign countries....each one full of excitement, challenges and adventures. While Lou was flying, I had my own three musketeers, three sons who are the best of me. We did everything together....and the memories are like the stars in the sky - bright, beautiful and thousands of them. I am lucky to have married a man who loves and puts his family first even though his assignments have kept us apart at times. When he was home, he was all ours and we did everything together. I've also been blessed to have worked for the Round Rock School District for 24 years and so have my own retirement. Something I never thought being a military spouse I would be able to do. Lou retired from the Air Force and has retired from flying for Fedex and I am retired as well, and yet we are busier than we ever were working full-time jobs - or so it seems.
