Amy joined the US Air Force in October 2000. Her first tour of duty took her to Okinawa, Japan for 4 years, where she served as a Security Police Officer. Currently she is stationed at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia, supervising the Awards and Decorations section

She went into nuclear engineering, then joined the naval Academy and became an Officer. She has been on only one deployment and is now on her way to being stationed in Japan.

I served with many fine units including VC5 Checkertails, VA95 Green Dragons, VA165 Boomers, VA128 Golden Intruders, VP4 Skinny Dragons, NAS Whidbey Island WA Search and Rescue, NAS Whidbey Island AIMD, NAS Norfolk VA AIMD.
I also participated in working vacations in Vietnam, Philippines, Mayasia, Taiwan, Guam, Korea, Okinawa, Honshu, Hokkaido, Hawaii, Diego Garcia, Alaska and of course Washington State and Virginia.
I flew on and helped maintain some great aircraft! My favorites are the RC45J (Fabric covered Sky King type), A4 Skyhawk, US2C (Stoof), A6 Intruder, SH3 Sea King Helicopter (I hate Helicopters) and the P3 Orion.
I loved my career in the Navy, but would never do it again!

Our Whitehall High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Whitehall High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated.
