Colasurd Christopher P. Colasurd, age 55, passed away unexpectedly on October 4, 2013. Chris was born on October 20, 1957 in Lakewood, Ohio to Donald and Frances (McCoppin) Colasurd. He graduated from Whetstone High School in 1975. He received his Bachelors Degree from Bowling Green University in 1980. Chris received his Juris Doctorate from Ohio Northern University in 1983. He became a member of the Ohio State, Columbus and Florida Bar Associations. Since receiving his J.D., Chris and his father practiced law together at Colasurd and Colasurd where they specialized in workers' compensation and social security in Columbus, OH. Chris met the love of his life on October 13, 1995 and two years later they married on November 22, 1997. He purchased his "soon-to-be" dream home in 2001 months before his son, Dino, was born in June, 2002. Chris loved spending time working on the house and yard. Besides gardening he loved spending time with his family especially while traveling. He is a long time member of St. Timothy Church where he volunteered to serve lunch and coach basketball. He is survived by his lovely wife, Doreena (Naples); son, Coradino "Dino"; age 11, parents; Don and Fran; brothers, in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call Monday from 4-8 p.m. at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 4661 Kenny Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Timothy Church, 1088 Thomas Lane.
