Douglas Lima, born on January 5, 1988, in Goiânia, Goiás, Brazil, is a celebrated Brazilian mixed martial artist who has carved a name for himself in the annals of Bellator MMA. Graduating from Joseph Wheeler High School in Georgia, USA, Lima began training with American Top Team Atlanta, contributing to his impressive career in the field of MMA.

His professional MMA record boasts a total of 44 fights, 33 of them won by Lima. Known for his powerful strikes and submissions, he has won 16 fights by knockout and 10 by submission. Additionally, his Amateur Muay Thai record is flawless with 21 wins, 17 of them by knockout.

Throughout his career, Lima has competed in the welterweight and middleweight divisions. He has had a significant impact in the ring, becoming a three-time Bellator Welterweight Champion and earning the title of MFC Welterweight Champion. By August 2023, he was ranked #7 both in the Bellator Welterweight and Middleweight Rankings.
