| About Me | I believe in miracles, I believe that God controls the universe and is Lord of my life to guide, direct and protect me because I believe that I am a child of His. I have had a very interesting life to date. In my pre teens I worked as a volunteer in a our County's Nursing Home. In my high school years I continued to work as a nurses aid in nursing homes and I waited tables. I bought my first car with tips I had saved, Carried them to the neighbor in my apron, all $50.00 of it in rolls. I was married young, at 19, had my son Randy, of whom I am so proud of at 21 and my daughter Terri, who I believe is the most beautiful girl on the planet at age 23. Now I have 8 adorable grandchildren. My first marriage ended after 10 years of utter chaos, because that is how life is when you live it without the Lord, Chaos! I married Art 4 years later and we have been married for over 21 years now. It had been rough in the beginning, shaky in the middle, but I am happy to say the road has been very smooth for the most part in these past years. Praise the Lord for willing and committed hearts and for a love that is willing to deal with the hard parts. As far as my working years, I did many things from bank teller, surgical assisting,christian radio dj/sales and station manager to now where I am blessed with a job that I can work from home. For the past 12 years I have been involved with World Vision, a faith based humanitarian organization. Thru them my husband and I have sponsored up to 6 children. Two we are still sponsoring. One is a girl in Ethiopia,Gebo who is now 16 and wants to be a doctor, we have sponsored her the longest for 12 years. Another one is a boy in Swaziland his nave is Sive, he is 12 years old and wants to be a police man. we have sponsored Sive for 10 years. this past July I was so greatly blessed with the opportunity to visit Sive while I served with another humaitarian organization in Swaziland South Africa. It was an experience that I will never ever forget. Currently as of Dec. 2010 I have opportunity to serve in the spring of 2011 in the Dominican Republic and doors are opening for Honduras also. I pray I have a few good decades of life left on this earth and only want to do what is Gods will for my life with those years. To reach for the mark to be call His good and faithful servant.
