WRHS – The Sixties: Annual Pot Luck Picnic
Saturday, August 3, 2024, Noon to 4.
Prospect Park, 44th & Tabor St. Same location as 2023
WRHS 63 has again organized your annual picnic for the WRHS 1960-1969 classes.
Rolly Sorrentino reserved Prospect Park foryour 2024 event. This picnic could serve as a 60th Reunion event for the Class of 1964. Young Farmers from the 70’s are also welcome! This casual potluck event is for Farmers, teachers, their spouses and/or guests. We hope to see you this year at Prospect Park! We still feel that keeping strong social bonds is important to our longevity.
This year’s picnic will be on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Prospect Park, 44th & Tabor St.
We provide water, ice, paper napkins and plates, plastic utensils, table coverings and the venue. Each class is asked to pay $40, which will help to pay for the venue and set-up items. Please send $$ or a check payable to “WRHS 1963” to Terry Ten Eyck 98 S. Rogers Way Golden,CO 80401 by April 30, 2024. A donation jar will be provided to accept voluntary individual contributions from attendees to be used as seed money for your 2025 The Sixties picnic.
The picnic is pot luck. Please bring enough food, either an entrée, appetizer, salad, or dessert to share. If you bring your own beverage, it needs to be in NON-GLASS containers.
We look forward to seeing Farmers and Teachers from the 60’s & 70’s on August 3rd!!!!!!

We still strongly urge any interested class or individuals interested in conducting future “60’s
Picnics” to contact Terry before this Picnic to ‘learn the ropes’ and find out what equipment,
supplies and seed money WRHS 63 has to turn over to the younger Farmers willing to keep this
picnic as an annual event in 2025 and subsequent years. Thank you!
