| About Me | Married Bob in 1971 - thought we'd give it a try. Seems to have worked - will be 48 years in September. Had a short career in human resources - then found my true calling as a special event producer. Was the Executive Director of First Night Hartford for many years as well as many other events (including the UCONN basketball tournament victory parades!) After many years, left to found my own event production company called Celebrate!. Back in the early days I was going to go to NYC to study acting but didn't. However, I've kept it up by working with many of the local theatre groups. Still paint a little and am in the process (a very long process) of writing a stage adaptation of a novel about teen bullying and gun control. (Yes, I'm a liberal) I've always been a beach bum and six years ago moved to Cape Cod. Unfortunately, responsibilities for an aging mother have brought me back to Wethersfield for the time being, but I WILL RETURN to the Cape.
