Electrical Power Production Specialist. After Basic Training at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, Texas afterwards went to Tech School at Sheppard AFB, Witchata Falls,Texas. 1st Assignment was 7350th Support Group - Tempelhof Central Airport, Berlin, Germany. 2nd was 26th Civil Engineering Squadron - Ramstein AB, Ramstein, Germany. 3rd was 38th Tactical Reconaissance Squadron at the same base.

Served in the Active Army and the Mass. Army National Guard. Majority of time spent with Military Police Corps. Retired as Master Sergeant after Operation Noble Eagle and Operation Enduring Freedom II deployments 2001 - 2004.

Commissioned 1967. Served as lieutenant and tank platoon commander for 16 months on the front line in I Corps, Viet Nam. Also served 10 year in the Navy as a lieutenant commander and radiologist.

Commissioned through Tufts ROTC, 1966. Completed pilot training 1967. Served two combat tours in Viet Nam and also flew in the First Gulf War. Commanded the 26 Recon Wing, the 52nd Fighter Wing, and 410th Bomb Wing. Retired as brigadier general in 1995.

Steve joined the USAF in 1969 as an Airman and served in Vietnam as a Combat Weather Observer supporting US Army Aviation interests. He continued his career as an aviation meteorologist, earning his pilots license, graduating with a Bachelors degree from the University of NH and a Masters degree from Troy State University. He became a commissioned officer in 1983 and retired in 1991 as a Captain and a Senior Meteorologist. Besides Vietnam, and various assignments in the US, he served in the United Kingdom, The Netherlands, and Germany for a number of years.

Our Westwood High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Westwood High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated.
