About Me	Went to Western Iowa Tech for a year after high school. Worked at USDA-ASCS from 1977-1987 in Sioux City as a program assistant. Worked at USDA-Soil Conservation Service, now known as the Natural Resouces Conservation Service as a technician, soil conservationist, district conservationist, and assistant state conservationist mostly in Iowa, but spent 7 years in Hawaii on the islands of Molokai and Oahu. Graduated from ISU with a BS in Professional Agriculture. Married John Cox in 1983, adopted our daughter in 1990, and we have two grandsons born in 2010 and 2016. Retired from USDA in October 2011 after 34 years. After retirement we have traveled and enjoyed our grandchildren.
