West Theater History Wanted!
The Tosa West Theater Parent Association is creating a history of what productions were done at West during what years, who the directors were, and even a cast and tech crew listing. We would love to have history going all the way back to the beginning in 1961. We are in need of this information from 1995 and earlier.
If anyone has this information or any other info related to the history of Tosa West Theater in general (interesting stories, photographs, alums who have continued in theater, etc.) please contact wauwatosawesttheater@yahoo.com.
This historical information will eventually find a place on our NEW Tosa West Theater website.
Visit the Tosa West Theater website at
http://sites.tushaus.com/tosawestppn!
It is also linked to the Wauwatosa West High School website under Student Activities. Come back and attend some of our productions for an entertaining night out and a trip back in time! You'll also be supporting Tosa West Theater whose tickets sales fund our productions.
West Spring Play Starts 4/23!
The Wauwatosa West High School Trojan Players are presenting the zany, fast-paced comedy The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon, by Don Zolidis, on Friday, April 23 and 30, Saturday April 24 and May 1 at 7:00 pm and Sunday April 25 at 2:00 pm.
The fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm are turned on their heads in this rollicking romp as two warring narrators attempt to combine all 209 stories into one impossibly complicated and hilarious extravaganza. Classics like ‘Snow White’, ‘Cinderella’, and ‘Hansel and Gretel’ are presented alongside obscure tales like ‘The Devil's Grandmother’ and ‘The Girl Without Hands’, all in an uproarious dash to the finish line.
The play contains mild innuendo, references to guns and comic stage fighting which some parents may deem inappropriate for elementary school age children and below.
Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. General admission tickets will be sold at the door or may be ordered in advance on the ticket line at 414-773-3219 or at the Tosa West Activities Office between 8:30 am to 4:30 pm on school days. Tickets may be paid for by cash, check, or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or Discover).
Come and enjoy this wild, free-form comedy with lots of audience participation and madcap fun—you’ll want to see it more than once, we guarantee it! You'll also be supporting Tosa West Theater as all ticket sales are used to fund their productions!
