Charles Allen Stanton, 55, of 114 Kensington Circle, Fayetteville,
Mr. Stanton was a teacher for the Cumberland County School System. He was an assistant football coach for Pine Forest High School for eight years.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home chapel by Dr. Tryon Lancaster and the Rev. John Stanton.
Mr. Stanton is survived by a sister, Peggy S. Everette of Asheboro; and two brothers, the Rev. John Stanton and Thomas G. Stanton, both of Tampa, Fla.
