Marine Corps, 16 Years
Michael has served as a Marine Force Recon Sniper for the last 16yrs. He graduated with honors from Sniper School in 1993. He has served with his 6 man team across the globe, including in Afghanistan, Iraq, Sudan, Somalia and other locations. He is currently deployed. His family has not heard from him in over 4 months. This is not unusual. When deployed they rarely hear from him due to the nature of the Marine Force Recon operations. He has been married for 7 years, and has 3 young children. Our West-oak High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our West-oak High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated. All of us in Westminster are proud of our military alumni and want to thank them for risking their lives to protect our country!
