| About Me | In life: partnered for 32 years with a terrific man. Work life: Long career with children & families with special needs. Lots of media work. I was a media spokesperson for my professional organization, the American Dietetic Association. I've done all the morning news shows on various nutrition issues. I testified in Congress against someone marketing harmful diet pills to kids. (She was shut down and fine $5 million. I mean business!) One of the coolest things was helping the Disney corporation creat a global nutrition policy for their theme parks and their line of supermarket products. (No more "Princess" on the Pop-Tarts box!)
