About Me	Tim Branson Began his railroad career as a switchman for the Milwaukee Road in St. Paul, MN. He rejoined railroad service with Burlington Northern in 1979 working as a Brakeman, Locomotive Engineer, Road Foreman and Trainmaster. Tim returned to school and received a Bachelor of Science degree in communications from the University of Wyoming. He joined Amtrak in 1992 and held the positions of Assistant Conductor, Locomotive Engineer, Manager of Operations and Assistant Superintendent-Operations (Northwest Corridor) based in Seattle. Tim was an operating practices inspector for the Federal Railroad Administration for 6 years. His primary duties were accident investigation and railroad compliance inspections.
