| About | I don't recall the exact date fo his passing. It wasn't many years after graduation. Jeff was a 1994 WHS grad and a good friend of mine. Jeff enlisted in the Army as a cook after graduation. He joined the 82nd ariborne, and was proud to defend our country. Jeff passed away due to a surgical complication. He was a good friend, and he will always be missed |

Jeff passed away on January 7, 2002 at age 25. He was a Staff Sergeant in the Special Forces (Green Beret). He received medals for being an Army Paratrooper and Expert Marksman (sharpshooter).
The ribbons on the top row: Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal (2x)
Middle row: Good Conduct Medal (6 years), National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal
Bottom row: NCO Training ribbon (2x non-commissioned officer), Army Service Medal, NATO Medal
He is buried at Arlington National Cemetery. Westlake High School should be proud of him. He is greatly missed.
