Jim Salem’s Memorial Celebration…
Regarding Jim Salem’s Celebration of Life and funeral mass:
After reaching out to the core family, relatives & friends of Jim, we’ve settled on a date of Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at  St. Ladislas Church, 2345 Bassett Rd. In Westlake, Ohio for the funeral mass with pre-visitation at 10:00 am, followed by Jim’s Celebration of Life Ceremony and luncheon. It will all take place at St.Lad’s, Jim’s childhood parish and the church where we were married 47 years earlier on June 30, 1979. We will be live-streaming the 11:00 mass for those who cannot join us in person.
Jim was such a tremendous influence in many of our lives, because he ‘lived by example’. If you care to share a story or anecdote about Jim during his Celebration of Life Ceremony, we’d love hearing it.
Many thanks to all of you for your support, love & prayers ! He’s in God’s loving hands now.

Jim’s obituary can be seen at www.bognerfamilyfuneralhome.com

I knew Jim since little league baseball. Jim was an outstanding athlete in football, basketball, and baseball. But more importantly, Jim was a great person.. he had great character and he will be missed.

Truly he was the best of us. Best athlete, team mate, friend. Could have gone pro but decided to start a successful business, a wonderful family and still a great man of the community. We mourn with his family.
