| About Me | My family is from the Danny Micks clan in Limerick County, Ireland. I love music and the arts. Jazz, Big Band , Swing and Classical music are just a few highlights in my life, though I can appreciate other types of music as well. I also like to read and write poetry as well as write. I also sketch nature scenes. One of my favorite past times is enjoying time in nature as I feel it brings me closer to God. I try to use the 5 senses especially while I am out enjoying nature. One of my favorite local places to visit is Salem, MA. I play a few instruments, but my main instrument is the Clarinet. I am proud to say that I participate by playing my Clarinet in the Greater Westfield Community Band. We hold 2 concerts a year. We volunteer our talent to help keep music alive within our Communities. I enjoy cooking when I can, but I also welcome going out. Enjoying the comforts of my home is one of my pastimes, but I also like to go camping which I haven’t done in a long time. Another past time is snorkeling, though I prefer to snorkel in the tropical waters as you can see the true beauty of the bright colored fish and coral. I enjoy so many things, that if I keep typing I could write a book, but then again… I like to write. I have a great imagination! I enjoy watching football and hockey. Comedy is a must as I love to laugh. And laugh I do! And I have been told I have a good laugh. Don’t get me wrong, I can be very serious when it is required, but I absolutely love to laugh and have fun times. I also like to give hugs and have been told I give very good hugs. Let me say one thing right now. I have a good heart. I wear my heart on my sleeve. But because I wear my heart on my sleeve, that doesn't mean that I should be taken advantage of by anyone! I try to be honest, nice & fair. I don't wish to deceive anyone as that is not my character nor do I wish to be deceived.
