About Me	After college, I went to Naval OCS. US Navy years were split between Hawaii and Vietnam (Electronics Officer, USS O'Bannon DD-450 -- Vietnam deployments 1967-1970). After Navy and about a year kicking around on the beach trying to decide what I wanted to do, I met my future wife, Kathy, went to law school, married Kathy, moved to Hawaii, and had two children, Colin and Emily. I practiced law and we raised our family in Hawaii, travelled a lot (Scotland, Ireland France Switzerland, mainly) and finally made the big decision to move Oregon in 1997, where I have been working with Schwabe Williamson & Wyatt in Portland ever since. I practice water rights and natural resources law with an emphasis on endangered species work. Kathy transported her free-lance editorial and proofreading work from UH Press in Hawaii to Oregon, where she continues that work. Colin went to University of Oregon and married an Australian girl. They have 2 adorable kids, Aidan (4) and Ella (2). Emily went off to Dartmouth, then to graduate school (Emerson). She and her husband have cute 5 month old identical twin boys, Benjamin and Samuel.
