Calling All Cougars! WHHS 40th Anniversary 2008 marks the 40th Anniversary of the opening of Western Hills High School. The Class of 1983 is hosting a Happy Hour commemorating this historic event and we invite you to celebrate with us. Join us for happy hour at Angelo’s BBQ then follow us to Farrington Field to watch the Cougars play Trimble Tech. What: Happy Hour at Angelo’s BBQ WHHS vs. Trimble Tech When: October 10th, 2008 Happy Hour-5pm Football game-7pm Where: Angelo’s BBQ-2533 White Settlement Rd. WHHS vs. Trimble Tech-Farrington Field WHHS Trivia: Western Hills was first opened on the campus of Arlington Heights High School in the fall of 1968 with 714 students crowded into thirteen temporary buildings. In January 1969, the student body proudly moved into its new home on a twenty-five acre tract in north Benbrook at 3600 Boston Avenue. Alumni Association: WHHS desperately needs alumni support. Here is a great opportunity to catch up with old friends, meet some new ones and support WHHS all at the same time. Join the alumni association for only $20 and receive the Alumni Newsletter and information regarding alumni events throughout the year. The alumni association already has plans for monthly happy hours and a fall golf tournament. Own a business? We’ll post your ad in the alumni newsletter!
