About It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shawn Alan McLaughlin, 62, on Sunday April 16, 2023. Shawn courageously fought a battle against Multiple Myeloma and AL Cardiac Amyloidosis. He is survived by his wife Cindy (Beauchamp) McLaughlin, '79, and his beloved son, Connor Ryan McLaughlin. The McLaughlin Family thanks everyone for their outpouring support, especially the care Shawn received at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation.
