| About Me | I bake cakes. My earliest memories are of being in the kitchen with my Granny, standing on a stool, "helping" her bake cakes. With Granny it was always "just a pinch" of this or "just about a capful" of that! And her cakes were always melt in your mouth wonderful. When she died, Grandpa gave me her box of recipes. My cakes are based on two recipe's: one was a recipe that belonged to my grandmother's grandmother, who was Stonewall Jackson's Aunt! The other recipe belonged to Grandpa's mother. I remember Great Granny Woodworth chasing us out of the just delivered milk so she could pull the cream off to make her butter cake! Each cake I do is a custom creation. I love to blend flavors, cake and fillings to get just the right taste, texture and aroma to make every cake an experience!. From my simple Golden Butter made with rich, creamy butter filled with orange marmalade to a Sparkling Pink Champagne filled with fresh strawberry buttercream, to a decadent Double Fudge filled with Double Fudge Cream Cheese icing, each cake is made fresh, one at a time.
