| About Me | I love things. A lot of things. Exploring. Extrapolating interesting topics and ideas with interesting people. Researching, anything, because there is a world out there to understand. The wind, especially where there are trees. Collecting interesting or unique things. Weird people and normal people having drinks together with me in the middle consuming the tendrils of conversations. Places that have respect for the historical things, but also the knowledge and temerity to mix technology in it's upkeep. Architecture, all aspects of. Creativity. Painting. Design. Straight up hands on crafting. Color, it's affects on us, and crazy about how color works in the universe, in so many ways that we as humans cannot see, or fathom. Books on paper are dear to my heart, but books on data storage devices means I can carry a library in my pocket that could likely rival some of the best institutions in the world. Taking people, places or things that others deem unworthy of anything and offering my help to prove that everything in this world is beautiful in some way. Writing a lot, as in thousands of words a day on a myriad of subjects and ideas, as in I might possibly have Hypergraphia. Staying in old hotels and motels that most people would avoid. Watching the world change day by day through the use of the digital socialist system that we the people have built for ourselves and seeing just how close we are to ending politics and governance as it was done prior to around 1996. Vintage or odd paper products found in the wild. Boxes, metal things, or just about any other interesting materials. Computers and the immense worlds found within them. Social Experimentation and Manipulation through the pushing of positive and simple ideas. Politics of the near future world that part of us are already living in. Bleeding edge work involving technology, education systems, and good old deep thinking. Downtowns that follow their own guts, instead of following trends. Building stuff out of scraps to make usable objects. People who can see the joy and awesomeness in any or all of the above stuff, plus all the stuff I omitted so I could try this again sometime, when...(read more) |
