| About Me | Graduated The Citadel, six years U.S. Army Officer, commanded an Armored Cavalry Platoon on the Czech and East German Borders. Then switched to US Army Military Intelligence Branch for three years. Then entered graduated school on a full Fellowship/Teaching Assistant, earning an M.S. in Criminal Justice, the offered a Fellowship/Teaching Assistantship to U. of Cincinnati's Political Science Department for M.A. in Poli Sci and PhD/ABD in International Relations. Then Service transfered to the USAF as an Intelligence Officer, selected for US Naval War College, earning an M.A. in Strategic and National Security Studies and selected as the "first-ever" non U.S. maritime officer to be a Fellow on the Chief of Naval Operations Strategic Studies Group. Then served as the Deputy Division Chief for the HQ/USAF Director of Strategic Planning's Future Concept Development Division, The Pentagon. Then selected to serve on the Joint Staff and was "hand--picked" to be General Stanley A. McCrystal's Special Assistant. Retired from the USAF and then extended my career in the US Intelligence Community by working for Defense Intelligence Agency's Counterintelligence Directorate (DCA), the became the Team Lead for the Counterintelligence Support to all of the world-wide Combatant Commanders. Then served two tours in Afghanistan -- first, as the Senior Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) Doctrine and Policy Writer for HQ/ISAF's C-IED Branch and then as the country-wide Program Manager for all intelligence support for a defense company.
