About	David Delor Dixon of Oklahoma City passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones on May 28, 2022. David was born on March 31, 1956 and lived in Oklahoma his whole life. As an active member of the Bahai Community since he was 17 in 1973, he served as a teacher in Suriname in 1974, at the Bahai World Congress in 1992, and was instrumental in getting Bahai Marriages recognized in the state of Oklahoma. He graduated from both the UCO School of Forensics Science and OCU School of Law. He spent over 5 years as a Forensic Serologist for the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and close to 30 years as a Judicial Assistant for Justice Hodges and Colbert for the Oklahoma State Supreme Court. He also served as a Board member of the Sovereignty Symposium and continuously advocated for the independence of Tribal Nations. He is survived by his wife, Christine; his son, Jeremy; his siblings, Linda and Steve; nephews, Ryan, Sam, and grand-nephew, Issac; and nieces, Sarah, Kayla, Erica, and Emily. Graveside service will be Wednesday, June 1, 10:30am at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial service will be Saturday, June 4, 12:00 noon at Edmond Bahai Center, 321 E. Campbell St. .
