About Me	Dr. Cobb is an independent consultant and organizational scientist specializing in military training and leadership development, institutional education/training design and assessment, organizational behavior and development, team and multiteam dynamics, and strategic planning. As the Director of Scientific Research from 2020-2023, Peraton of Columbus (formerly Northrup-Grumman of Columbus), Dr. Cobb assisted the program manager in analyzing statements of work, developing technical proposals, selecting and supervising subcontractors/consultants, and monitoring and assessing research milestones and deliverables. Since 1999, Dr Cobb has served as an organizational consultant for wide range of institutional issues including leader and personnel development strategies, executive coaching, training designs, organizational change and behavior, and strategic planning. A retired USAF officer and US Army government service employee, Dr. Cobb has over 36 years of experience in leading, directing, designing, evaluating, and advising civilian and military organizations and teams across a wide range of applied operational, training, education, research, and academic settings. As a research team leader with the US Army Research Institute (retired 2017), Dr. Cobb led a field research team focused on developing effective tailored training strategies and tools to enhance institutional training throughout the Army. He has authored or co-authored numerous published reports and articles on a wide range of topics, including procedural and cognitive skill acquisition and retention, institutional training design and analysis, unit and organizational socialization, and career-based skills assessments. As the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs/Dean of Faculty at Huntingdon College, Montgomery AL, he was directly responsible for all matters pertaining to College’s academic and educational policies and programs, including meeting department and regional accreditation requirements, and managing the College’s $3.5M+ academic budget.
