What is A'Darius Pegues known for?

A'Darius Lamar Pegues was born on March 21, 1988, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He is an American-born Ugandan professional basketball player, with a height of 6 ft 10 in and weight of 245 lb. Pegues' basketball career kicked off at Western Alamance High School in Elon, North Carolina.

Following high school, he attended Indiana-Southeast (2009-2010), Tarleton State (2012-2013), and Campbellsville (2013-2014). Unfortunately, he went undrafted in the 2015 NBA draft.

A'Darius has played for various teams throughout his career. These include the Bowling Green Hornets, Iskra Svit, Saldus, Abejas de Guanajuato, Pioneros de Los Mochis, City Oilers, Leones de Managua, and the Patriots BBC. The last team he played for was Patriots BBC, a Rwandan club, where he played the center position.

In November 2019, A'Darius joined Patriots BBC and participated in the qualifying tournament for the Basketball Africa League (BAL), successfully helping the team to qualify. He also represented Uganda's national basketball team at the 2017 AfroBasket in Tunisia and Senegal, where he made a standout contribution by recording the most rebounds for Uganda.
