David W. Hilderbrand

National Guard, 14 Years
David was in the Army full time for 3 1/2 years and then in the Army National Guard for Ohio for 10 1/2 years. He was an excellent soldier and won many awards. He was also in the Gulf War of 1991 and is therefore a war veteran and hero to his sons, wife and family.

Gary served as an Engineer in the Ohio Army National Guard for several years including 1 year in Iraq. After a temporary break in service, he currently serves in the Army Reserves as an Engineer. He is currently a SGT.

Served as a Korean linguist for 4 years before changing to the Infantry. Currently serves as a squad leader in the Infantry. Has two tours to Korea and two tours to Iraq. Has been awarded the Expert Infantryman's Badge, the Combat Infantryman's Badge, and was inducted into the Order of St. Maurice.
