Craig A. Garner
Class of 1967
Craig has just recently published his seventh book which is a semi-autobiographical depiction of his life from the projects to Project Manager of a Fortune Five Hundred company. And, his transition from a basketball star in high school to the Poet Laureate of the township of Irvington and Chairman of the Township of Irvington Planning Board. Craig usually publishes books of poetry but decided that this time he should write about something more than poetry. Craig is a Vietnam era veteran who was honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force after serving four years. He is a college graduate from Kean University, President of the Park Place Block Association in his community, and President of his own technology company called Technology Persuasions. Over the years Craig has spoken to numerous students at many schools about technology and the need for them to get involved. He is also an advocate of learning your history since he joined the 1st World Alliance many years ago and attended meetings on Saturdays. Craig has also been an activist in his town trying to change things for the better.
