I entered the Air Force in April of 1979. After basic training, I spent six months in Texas learning to maintain telephone and data automation equipment. I was stationed in Florida for seven years, spent four months training with Sperry UNISYS near Preston, three years in Italy, three years in California near L.A., and finished my tour at a base in Peru, Indiana before it closed.

Retired in 2004 at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
