Commissioned as Regular Army Infantry officer with operational unit experience with Airborne, Armor, Aviation, Light Infantry, Mechanized Infantry, Special Operations, and DEA Counter-Drug Operations along US Border and Central America. Commanded various operational combat infantry units: 4 at platoon level, 2 rifle companies, and a battalion. Served in 7 battalions, 6 brigades, 5 divisions and 4 corps.
