About	Kimberly Ann Spruiell, age 47, passed away at home on Thursday, May 23, 2013 after a long illness. She was surrounded by her loving family. Born in Morristown, NJ, she grew up in Long Valley, NJ. At the time of her passing, she lived in Maplewood, NJ. Kimberly was predeceased by her father, (Ret) Col. J. Thomas Spruiell, who was a deacon at Assumption Church from 1997 to 2010. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Anne Stevens; her mother, Victoria Spencer Spruiell; four sisters, Grace Spruiell-Hochella (Dave), Lynn A. Grice (Herbert III), Jill M. Spruiell and Beth A. Spruiell (James); a niece, Victoria Joy Spruiell and a nephew, Herbert M. Grice IV. She will also be missed by many other loving family members, friends and her beloved dog, Archie. Kimberly graduated from West Morris High School, Chester, NJ in 1984 and attended Emerson College, Boston, MA. Kimberly enjoyed music, theatre, and the arts. She participated with her family in numerous plays at Pax Amicus Theatre in Budd Lake, NJ. She was employed at IBM in Southbury, CT for a number of years. Kimberly will especially be remembered for her quick wit, love of friends and family, spirit of adventure and her ability to bring people together. Heart felt thanks to the staff and volunteers at Atlantic Homecare and Hospice for their help and support and the outpouring of gifts, cards and flowers from many caring friends and family.
