About Me	I am devoted to Jesus. God doesn't want us to serve him because we owe him: it's not possible to repay him for allowing his only son to sacrifice himself for us. God wants us to want to serve him: free will is divine and beautiful. I could state the obvious..the odd weather this year, the inevitable $5 gal for fuel this summer, job insecurity, etc. Instead here's what you need to know: Life is short( my version means to devote your life to Jesus before he takes you suddenly or at old age ). God doesn't live on our time. We live in his: time does not exist in God's world. Let's not concern ourselves with which political party wins the next election, and do what God asks us: to love and respect one another in coexistence and not complain or resent the circumstances that affect but don't dictate the amount of stress we have in our lives. Ultimately we can't control who wins the presidency except hopefully and prayerfully through seeking God's wisdom in voting with His heart and His mind for how He intends for us to carry out our lives. God is in control of all things, including who wins any political election. I deliberately, purposefully dropped out of both main political parties as I saw I could not morally commit to both when I supported values in both of them. It is freeing to see all of politics for what it is throught the eyes of an independent voter: my eyes were opened by God's True Wisdom. All politicians, even Christain ones, lie. My favorite joke is "How do you know when a politician is lying? Ans: when you see his/her lips move". The true nature of politics lie in man's inherent deceitfulness: lies, corruption, self righteousness. That is why I registered as an independent voter over 10 years ago even as this party, too, lies in addition to being bought out by special interest groups. We can change who we are through Christ in order to improve he lives of others. Please do vote, but don't hope for a paradigm shift in the health of our nation's economy when the voter's poll results come in. Praise God for what you have and don't complain about what you don't have. I praise Him for the healthy Christian fellowship I have in my Christain Singles Ministry who are True Believers in Christ as well as the basic needs He's blessed me with: food, shelter, clothing, and the underlying spiritual closeness with Christ and His Father in Heaven.
