About	Judith "Judy" Treasure Hirsch, 80, long-time resident of Spring Grove passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on August 4, 2024. Judy was born on June 27, 1944, in Chicago, to Arthur and Lillian (Mielke) Wiemerslage. She was a graduate of East Leyden High School and studied interior design at Chicago Teachers College. In 1995, she married Steve Hirsch and together the pair moved from Williams Bay, WI to make their home in Spring Grove, IL. Judy was always a welcoming and gregarious person who had an optimistic outlook on life. Her laughter was a common expression of her happy and carefree nature. She found joy in everyday situations and was not easily deterred by challenges or setbacks. She had a close relationship with the Lord and was an active member of LifeSpring Church in Spring Grove. She belonged to many bible study groups and enjoyed spreading God's word. She was no stranger to the dance floor, and she was sure to awe those in her presence when the music began. Most of all, Judy enjoyed spending time with family and friends, whether it was sharing a meal, playing games or just being together. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. More than anything her heart was filled with love for her children, grandchildren, and her beloved dog Daisy. Grammy's loving presence will remain deep in our hearts forever. Survived by her children, Heather (Tim) Leonard, Jena (Matt) McCall, Jamie Edgar, Wendy (Tom) Castonzo; grandchildren, Kayleigh, Hannah, Maddie, Josh Leonard, Kyle (Becca), Kevin (Jessica), Connor (Mari), Carter, Courtney McCall, Dani (Ryan), Jessica, Alex Castonzo; great- grandchildren, Lily, Juliet McCall; sister-in-law, Edith Wiemerslage; nephews, Glen, Greg, Scott Wiemerslage. Preceded by her parents; husband, Steve Hirsch; brothers, Glen, Art Wiemerslage, niece, Jill Wiemerslage.
Events	Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024, from 1:00 P.M. until the 4:00 P.M. Funeral Service at Thompson Spring Grove Funeral Home, 8103 Wilmot Road, Spring Grove, IL. Interment will take place privately in Elmwood Cemetery, River Grove, IL
