Lynn made a life out of going to college and being in the army. After graduating. from West Jeff he enrolled at Bowling Green and graduated with a BS in 1973, he went on to graduate from OSU in 1981 with a BA in languages, a major in German . Then to Capital Univ. graduating with a degree as a paralegal. Then on to Kent State graduating with a degree in Library Science in 1997, and on to Columbus State Community College with a degree of Raspatory tech in 1999. He had many honors during his time in the Army to include : Tactical Intelligence officer, Cryptologic sciences, Military Intelligence officer and graduated from Military Polic e school in 1992
