OBITUARY Iron County Reporter Sep 27 2017 “Obituaries: Eugene Zorzin”
OSCEOLA, Wis. – Eugene Zorzin, 60, formerly of Caspian, passed away at his home on Sept. 17, 2017.
He was born on Aug. 22, 1957 in Stambaugh, the son of Adam and Julia (Hoholek) Zorzin. Eugene attended West Iron County High School, graduating with the Class of 1975, and attended Michigan Technological University. Eugene began his career with PPG Industries and advanced with relocations to the Eastern U.S., mid-South and back to the upper Midwest.
In addition to his parents, Eugene was preceded in death by his brother Ronald Zorzin. He is survived by his sons, Matthew (Carrie) Zorzin of Colorado and Adam Zorzin of Arkansas; brother David (Dorothy) Zorzin of Milwaukee, Wis.; sisters, June Recla of Appleton, Wis. and Elaine (Jim) Baumgartner of Caspian; and sister-in-law Susan Zorzin of Iron River. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at the Stambaugh Cemetery on Oct. 14 at 10 a.m. with the Reverend Gregory Veneklase officiating.
