Steven was a Disabled Vet who spent 22 years in the US Air Force. (Sept. 22nd 1972 to Dec. 31st 1994)
The last year and a half of Steven's life was spent over 10 months in and out of the Loma Linda VA hospital. He suffered from many illnesses and disabilities and he died from having 2 massive strokes in the matter of hours.
Steven was married for over 36 years to his High School Sweetheart Tarona Benson class of 1974.
Steven was buried at the new Bakersfield National Cem with full Military Honors. Steven was both a Vet Nam and Persian Gulf Veteran.
