Old Neighborhood Pictures

Growing up in Rose Park area and going to West High was a pleasure. Life was so simple and safer for us.

I miss all the old hang-outs. Stimpsons grocery store and all the Other stores... Mode O Day, The dry cleaners, shoe repair, barber shop, Jon's Shirt shop, Earl's Pharmacy, the bank and Sproutz Reitz (formerly a fabric store).

Other areas included the stores and restaurants between 12th North and North Temple ..... and 3rd West and Redwood Road. The Rialto Theatre, the Red Barn, Skaggs drug store, Dee's, Arctic Circle, Onequa Elementary, Horace Mann Jr. High, etc.

Back in those days we couldn't afford a camera - You had to purchase film and then pay for developing. So 40 years later we all have the memories but no pictures.

If any one does have pictures I would be so grateful to see them.
