| About Me | Married to Brenda for over thirty years. Two great daughters in Marianne and Kathryn. One "Gran" (as they call it in Saipan) in Jacob. Moved to Alaska in l959 at age 8 and brought the rest of the family with me. West High, and only had to attend each grade level once, to the surprise of many. Then to UAF , where I studied chemistry for a bit before transitioning to political science ( not really a science, folks, but it sounds good!) Then to law school with Syracuse and Notre Dame. Studied the full second year in London. Also did a Masters in Public Administration to try to keep my grades up. Actually passed the Bar on the first attempt, a few years with the AG's office in Alaska, a year in Saipan for the Trust Territory doing fun stuff, then to the private sector. In the 35th year of practice now, and still being blown out of the saddle when I least expect it. So I try to expect it all the time. Hobbies have varied over the years from flying, to Scuba, to skiing.
